UNA Pop-Up Art Exhibition
An exclusive one-night-only pop-up gallery showcasing the incredible talent of UNA students & local artists across various mediums. This event will be on Monday, April 7 from 4-8 pm at Singin’ River Brewing Co. It is a free event and everyone is invited to attend.
The Wild Women of Winedale Production at the Ritz
The Ritz Theatre is pleased to present its CenterStage at the Ritz production of The Wild Women of Winedale, running from Thursday, August 15th through Saturday, August 17th at 7:30PM and Sunday, August 18th at 2PM.
6th Annual Northwest Alabama Farm Toy Show
The 6th Annual Farm Toy Show will be at the Clarion Inn on Feb 9th and 10th. Buy, sell, and trade farm toys! There will be a display competition, door prizes, and a pedal tractor raffle.
Court Street Holiday Pop-Up Market
On Monday, December 11th from 3pm-7pm, Court Street Books will be hosting their very first pop-up event. Do some holiday book shopping, grab a bite to eat, and support local.
Night Moves December Market
Night Moves December Market will be on Saturday, Dec 9 from 5-10pm on East Mobile Street in Florence. This vintage and maker’s market will be featuring 35+ local vendors.
Holiday Tour of Homes
CaringPlace of The Shoals presents Holiday Tour of Homes. Tour 11 historic homes in the Shoals. Tours will be on Dec 8 from 5-9pm and Dec 9 from 2-7pm.
The Ritz Holiday Cabaret
The Ritz is having its annual Holiday Cabaret on December 7—9 at 7 pm each night. The performances will be in the Ritz Studio located next door to the Ritz Theatre in Sheffield, AL. It will be a charming evening of classic holiday songs by a stellar cast of local vocalists.
Alabama Chanin Holiday Market
Enjoy small bites and coffee provided by All the Best, and shop with unique designers and artists from across the South, including Elidia, 3 Oak Lane, Zkano, and more at the Alabama Chanin Holiday Market. The market will be on Dec 7 from 4pm-7pm.
Winter Dreams
The Shoals Symphony at UNA will be performing Tchaikovsky's Winter Dreams at Norton Auditorium on December 3, 2023. Celebrate the joys of the holidays with Tchaikovsky's First Symphony and beloved holiday classics.
An Act of Congress Christmas at The Ritz
Alabama-based singer-songwriter group, Act of Congress, will be performing a Christmas special at the Ritz Theatre in Downtown Sheffield on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 7pm.
John Paul White - Home for the Holidays
Join John Paul White, on November 29th at Norton Auditorium, in celebrating the holiday season with a special holiday show featuring some of his friends.
Stuff the Bus Toy Drive
Help us “Stuff the Bus” this Christmas for kids in our area. Please bring a new toy (still in the package) for kids K-12. Last year over 5,000 toys were distributed to children throughout Colbert & Lauderdale Counties. This year we hope to give out even more!
The Shared Table Thanksgiving Lunch
Everyone is welcome to a free lunch on Thanksgiving day at the Muscle Shoals Rec Center at Gattman Park on Thursday, Nov 23. Food will be served from 11am to 1pm.
Trax4MAX 5K Turkey Trot & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
On Thanksgiving morning, Trax4MAX will be having a 5K Turkey Trot and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk in memory of Max Burnett. The race will be benefitting YCMA of The Shoals. There will also be a costume contest and prizes!
A Christmas Story
The Gingerbread Players present A Christmas Story directed by Jacob Adams. Performances will be from Thursday, November 16 through Sunday, November 19, 2023, at the Shoals Theatre in Downtown Florence. This play is based on the 1983 motion picture A Christmas Story.
Colbert Heights High School Theatre Presents: Cinderella
Colbert Heights High School Theatre Department will be performing Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella the Musical on November 9-12.
Kruzn Into Christmas
EXIT Realty Shoals is proud to present their annual Christmas Tree Giveaway, a heartwarming initiative benefiting the Kruzn for a Kure Foundation. On Saturday, November 4th, bring your family and friends to enjoy a day filled with fun, food, and holiday cheer. The day kicks off at 11 am.

The 2023 Muscle Shoals Songwriter Festival will take place on November 3-5, 2023 in The Shoals, Alabama, and will feature some of the biggest songwriters in the music industry.
1 Table Florence 2023
The annual 1 Table free community lunch will be Thursday, November 2, 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Mobile Plaza in Downtown Florence. 1 Table is a day to share space, conversation, and a meal with neighbors we may not have otherwise gotten to know. Everyone is invited. There is no cost, no catch, no agenda.

The American Patchwork Quartet will be performing live at the Ritz Theatre in Sheffield on Oct 28, 2023, at 7 p.m. Join Grammy-winning artists as they breathe new life into centuries-old American songs.
Colbert County Animal Shelter Howl N Growl
The Colbert County Animal Shelter is having its 2nd Annual Howl N Growl on Saturday, October 28 from 4-8pm. This event will have a trunk or treat, a bake sale, vendor booths, food trucks, and a haunted walk-through.
Ford City Fall Festival
Brick Hatton’s 3rd Annual Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 28 from 11am-2pm. The 2023 event promises to be larger than previous events with greater participation. This year’s parade begins at 10:30am from Brick School Rd. and River Rd.
Alabama Renaissance Faire
The Alabama Renaissance Faire will be returning to Wilson Park on October 28-29, 2023. This promises to be a day filled with merriment, wonder, and the spirit of ages past celebrating the splendor of the medieval and Renaissance eras! This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.
Life Without Limits 1/2 Marathon and 5k
Get ready for the Life Without Limits Half Marathon, 5K, and a 1-mile Fun Run in Florence, AL. This is a fundraising event benefitting United Cerebral Palsy of North Alabama and the Helping Hands Foundation
Muscle Shoals High School Trunk 'N' Treat
The MSHS Key Club and Anchor Club are co-sponsoring the very first MSHS Trunk N' Treat in the MSHS parking lot on Friday, October 27 from 5:00-7:30 PM. This event will be for children ages 3-12, and will take place during the MSHS Trojan football off-week!
Church of the Good Shepherd Halloween Event
Church of the Good Shepherd in Florence is hosting a fundraiser Halloween event for Shoals Save-a-Life on October 26 from 5:30-8:30 pm. There will be a costume contest, an award presentation, and music.

There will be a community block party on West Tennessee Street in Downtown Florence in front of Magnolia Gardens. This event will be from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, and it is free to attend.
Colbert County DHR Fall Festival
Colbert County DHR is having a Fall Festival on Sunday, October 15, from 12-4pm at Spring Park, Tuscumbia. There will be inflatables, food trucks, arts & crafts, activity tables, train rides, a costume contest, and more.
