An exclusive one-night-only pop-up gallery showcasing the incredible talent of UNA students & local artists across various mediums. This event will be on Monday, April 7 from 4-8 pm at Singin’ River Brewing Co. It is a free event and everyone is invited to attend.

Time Out for Theatre, The Ritz’s children’s theatre program performing Hippopotamus for Christmas written and directed by Jaleesa Escott, and produced by special arrangement with Tennessee Valley Art Association.The performance will be on Saturday, Dec 9 at the Ritz Theatre at 2pm.

The Shoals Symphony at UNA will be performing Tchaikovsky's Winter Dreams at Norton Auditorium on December 3, 2023. Celebrate the joys of the holidays with Tchaikovsky's First Symphony and beloved holiday classics.

Alabama-based singer-songwriter group, Act of Congress, will be performing a Christmas special at the Ritz Theatre in Downtown Sheffield on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 7pm.

Santa will be coming to the Florence Mall on December 1st and will be there throughout the season. Reservations are encouraged but it will be welcome for anyone to walk up as well.

Shoals Chamber is hosting Dashing Through The Shoals, a community-wide Christmas event featuring an ice skating rink, food trucks, pictures with Santa Claus, live entertainment, free hot chocolate, a vendor market, kids activities, and a Christmas tree lighting.

On Thanksgiving morning, Trax4MAX will be having a 5K Turkey Trot and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk in memory of Max Burnett. The race will be benefitting YCMA of The Shoals. There will also be a costume contest and prizes!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Shoals is hosting an Art Gala on Nov 3 from 6-9pm at Pickett Place in Downtown Florence. There will be silent and live art auctions.

The annual 1 Table free community lunch will be Thursday, November 2, 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Mobile Plaza in Downtown Florence. 1 Table is a day to share space, conversation, and a meal with neighbors we may not have otherwise gotten to know. Everyone is invited. There is no cost, no catch, no agenda.
